But I've got a feeling some GM will take him mid 2nd round. Maybe Pace will say, fuck it, and take him with his early 2nd rounder. |

Beardown, FF was saying the Bears should draft him with the 3rd pick overall. Not in the 3rd round. |

I feel like Vince Young taught us nothing. Don't make one game representative of the entire resume. |

This is going to be a great draft for smart and patient GM's. Having so few true high end qb's and wr's is going to make them panic and overdraft guys. |

Vince taught us to not draft a fucking moron just because he can run fast and is bigger than most at his position. This lesson will kind of be remembered next year when teams want to draft this years heisman winner...well at least the run fast part cause he is not bigger than most kickers. |

Just remember that he's already graduated as a junior and has a 32-3 record as a starter |

I'll be happy to bump this thread in 2020 and remind you why Watson is a bad pick. |

Just remember that he's already graduated as a junior and has a 32-3 record as a starter I know that about Watson. I was trying to say he is nothing like Vince Young. The Louisville qb is going to be awful in the NFL. Watson is awesome but I think the speed of the NFL will get him. He has been amazing at Clemson and has wrung every drop out of his talent....problem is that I think the speed of the NFL will neutralize an overachieving, gamer type qb. |

It's really difficult to scout that read option hurry-up offense and project that to the pros. Watson would get killed running around and taking the hits he took in this game if he did it for 16 regular season games. |

Vince young threw zero TDs and 200 yards, he did run 20 times for 200 yards and 3 TDs. Watson threw for 420 against the best Defense in college, tossed 4 TDs, I see no similarities in their game. |
