I apologize for the Beardown-esque nature of this thread, but I've listened to about half the show this morning via podcast now and this guy has a couple weak spots but overall it's startling how much better he is than Spiegel, Drinky, Rozner, etc. Within a year or two he's gonna be the best host on the station.

I'm still not thrilled with him just having to be right about everything with Spiegal, it's just not good radio. Just make your point and move on dude, nobody's keeping score.

Its been one show. I realize you might not be around for more than 8 or 10 more, but in a sea of dumb thoughts this is one of the biggest here. Stick to horse racing.

Wscr needs more Syracuse groomed hosts then? I wish I could get as excited as zaidman doors during lame spring events like DePaul basketball

i can only wonder if favrefan has ever "stuck his dick in crazy" because of his tendency to fall in love on the 2nd date? *jeopardy theme*

Didn't listen last week because solo radio is always awful but I've been listening again yesterday and today. Spiegel's dislike of him and insecurity is getting more palpable, which just makes me like Parkins more. I'd love to hear Parkins with Goff.

Agreed. Plus he busts balls and isn't a little bitch like Spiegel. I actually got to hear a lot of the show today, and I thought he was good.

He's just absolutely clowning Spiegel whenever they disagree. It's great as a novelty but they need to get him a better partner.

First show....he lost me suggesting Rodgers is the best ever. Second show...very good. This was an unusual week where I was work 2nd shift and could listen. Back to normal next week and I'll never hear him. Completely agree a more complimentary voice is needed. He's very good, very entertaining....he can stay.

I'm proud of the fact that I got biblical with a pink mowaked (NOT fauxhawked) chick back before we entered the epoch of "danger hair" ...i'll still never know if that was a legit MK/monarch programming breakdown/dissociation or if she simply knew enough about them to be able to act like she was having one? twilight zone theme

Parkins is good. Not great but solid. Nice hire. I can see why the KC market hated to lose him. Very easy listen. The can't do it bit is good. Like him so far.
