I've been in the south for rivalry football games, one of the few things better is watching baseball around a rainbow coalition crowd. Everyone walks away happily respecting everyone who gives maximum effort. And the flavor

An Irish friend of mine is from New York. He's a huge Yankees fan and a big Japanophile. He's an artist who sells a lot of work in Japan. He was telling me that the experience of seeing a baseball game in Japan is just unbelievable.

Daggum it! Wife and and I are working on completing the World Major Marathons. But it seems like Tokyo does not line up with their baseball season and I am not sure how many 13 hour plane rides I have in me.

ps what relevance does the Irish heritage of your NY friend have on the relevance of him being a Japan-fan? Just curious?

I haven't paid any attention to this but this USA vs Dominican Republic game is really good. Robertson was warming up so that could soon change
