A big thanks to all of the great doctors and nurses at OSF in Peoria. Surgery went well and 48 hours later she is back at home with us and doing well. Groggy as hell but my girl is a fighter and will mend quickly I hope. To all who kept us in their thoughts I appreciate it. |

I got in good shape lugging the 20 bags of hair ribbons and food on the mile walk to the parking deck twenty times today. How they got all that shit up there boggles the mind. |

About an hour before she was discharged Avantis came up with 5 subs and not one but 7 pizzas. The Aunt thought we might be hungry. OMG. |

I am watching this beautiful girl and my awesome wife who never left her side for 72 hours (other than the brain surgery part that I am sure she would have jumped in and directed if she could have done so.) Amazing. God I love them so much. |
