Lavar Ball coming for Lebron's kids. This won't end well for the Ball children.

Bron's gonna rest up the week before he plays Lonzo next year and then drop 60 on the poor kid.

I would think his nuts weigh much more than that.

"The monsters in the NBA, their dads wasn't that good," Ball said. "They were OK, they was players, but the fact that the old [Dell] Curry wasn't no All-Star, he wasn't cold. He could shoot the ball, though. Kobe Bryant, his dad wasn't all that, that's why he's such a monster.

"You got LeBron, it's going to be hard for his kids because they are going to look at them like, 'You got to be just like your dad.' And after a while, that pressure starts sitting on you like, 'Why do I got to be just like him? What can't I just be me?' And then they are going to be like, 'Aw, you're soft, you're not that good.' Because the expectation is very, very high."

LaVar Ball also has said he was good enough to "kill" Michael Jordan one-on-one in his prime, which would seem to punch a hole in his theory that his sons are better off because their father was not an all-time great.

I'm fairly confident the soft comment is what set Lebron off. I don't even have kids, and I know I would be pissed if someone said that about them. Even hypothetically.

It was dumb to say it but he may not have been wrong.

Of course. I am sure if he took a deep breath for thought between his coffee and mail he would have said it differently.

Is it me or are people saying "keep _____ out of your mouth" too much in relation to things that are not thumbs, coins, or dicks? It sounds so theatrical, pseudo-Victorian.

Lebron is on the decline. The kid will school HIM at some intersecting point in their careers.

Yes, this scenario MIGHT happen, but if Bronny is as good as some think he may be then we could have a couple decades of this family battle.

He's right though. LeBron's kids are doomed for failure if they play basketball. They could be great players but "Your dad was one of the best of all time." They should try a different sport.

Generally speaking you're right, but his oldest actually has standing scholarship offers from Kentucky and Duke at age 11... Btw I'm not supporting the scouting and recruitment of players that young.

And why do you think that is? If his name was James Bills Jr, he would just be a good player on some local AAU team. This actually proves the point. How can this kid live up to the hype? He has scholarship offers in 5th grade!

James Bills jr is catchy tho. That helps the brand.

I would hope James pushes his kids to play basketball at an Ivy league school with a good business program in management of inherited money. Work is for chumps.
