I know in other Cubs "Blog Circles" many were furious that we gave up the great Jorge Soler for a Wade Davis rental. |

I dont recall anyone upset that the Cubs traded Soler for him. But I do recall some angst over his poor performance this spring training. Another reason why no one should pay any attention to spring training numbers. |

Starlin is going to be the starting 2B on the AL All-Star team. The best offensive 2B in all of baseball. I'd trade Schwarber for Starlin, straight up. Call me, Cashman. |

I don't know if anyone follows BleacherNation(blog) but their minor league writer(pretty well respected, IMO) had a meltdown when they traded Soler. He was a huge fanboy. Also many commentators there too were on the edge. Also FlapJacks, again, Cubbie on the Brain, Cubbie on the Brain. |
