Now THIS is how you do it. Complete opposite of the dbag video/story I posted yesterday.

I doubt even Ogie could find fault with these cops.

Should have shown more restraint. Who holds keys and a gun? Why call him sir? Terrible cops!

Police have to make split second decisions each and every single day. Right or wrong, usually the latter as making that shot to prevent endangering the public. But also maybe shooting that person in the leg to save anybody anymore bloodshed. And arrest the person. It is a decision either they will either regret making or thinking it was the right call.

This gives you a little more hope for police. That officer ran away, used non lethal and even while on the ground still was using non lethal. Even the one that ultimately shot him was showing tremendous restraint.

What you see there is the norm Hank not the .00001 % of police encounters that seem to be getting all the attention .

If I get pulled over for speeding, there should be a 100% chance I live thru the encounter. Not a 99.9999% chance. Thats the problem.

So should the cops . That’s the problem.

Nah, just like CTE'd NFL players, that's what they signed up for. If you don't want to die pulling someone over for speeding, don't pull someone over for speeding, that's the problem.

I remember the first time I heard a cop say on TV something like "I'm going home tonight no matter what." It struck me as odd because of the inherent risk of the job. That seemed to pick up steam over the years to where we are now.

I find it odd that you find a cop addressing self preservation, one of our most basic human insticts, as something odd.

I realize a nuanced discussion is completely lost on you. It leads to the pussy mentality we saw on display in the execution video. LEO's have at least one gun in 100% of the situations they walk into. Act like it.

1994: I'm going home tonight no matter what.
2017: YOU'RE FUCKED

If my father had that pussy mentality he never would have volunteered for WWII.
