Gonna get his 2 no talent kids money to play professionally based on nothing but hype. Impressive. Quote: Story filed to ESPN with @DraftExpress: LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball are in serious discussions to sign professional basketball deals with Lithuanian club Prienu Vytautas. Club plans to decide in next 24-to-48 hours whether to finalize an agreement with the two American teenagers.

Eh, Lamelo would be pretty highly valued wherever he went, especially if he's 6'6 now. It's smart making the brothers a package deal though and using him to get Liangelo paid as well. |

Would take a lot of money to make Lithuana worth living in, unless the team is wearing these as hand me downs. |

This should be great http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/2174 ... tball-club Prienu Vytautas, or BC Prienai as it's often called, is a low-level club from a small, non-English speaking village of roughly 10,000 people in southern Lithuania. The team has been grappling with financial issues, and started the season losing eight of its first 12 games in the Lithuanian league. The team is 4-1 in the Baltic League after its lone loss came on a forfeiture. The game was abandoned with three minutes to go at 65-65 after the coach was ejected due to some questionable calls. Vytautas has sparingly signed American players in the past decade, only ex-Vanderbilt guard Brad Tinsley. He left the team after a month. The club plays in a 1,700-seat arena; 500 of those seats are reserved for team sponsors and their friends. Tickets cost around 5 euro. The team has no general manager and doesn't practice regularly due to the poor financial situation. The team's best player currently is likely the coach's son, Edvinas Seskus, who was considered a huge prospect as a teenager but didn't develop as expected, partially due to injuries. |

It wouldn't surprise me if the Ball brothers ended up playing for free. Certainly not the most glamorous league or part of the world to live in.

I'll offend someone i know but most of these countries are backwards ass. Why the hell would an African American parent (or any American parent) want his African American kids going to these countries where they'll be called racist slurs and god knows what else they'll experience negatively. Has this guy seen those soccer matches in these type of places? It's nasty. Actual NAZIs, yes, they wear swastikas and have signs that say kill jews, attend these soccer matches with cops grinning right besides them hurling racial slurs and making jungle noises, throwing banana's at the black soccer players. I don't understand this guy at all. He's a terrible parent. How about letting these young adults decide what they want to do in life. |

I think there are lots of issues with cash flow in these eastern European leagues. I seem to remember some bulls draft pick from a few years ago getting into a jam when he chose to play in the Russian league for a year, didn't get paid, complained and found that JR is a comparatively kind negotiator of business problems. |

You seem to have a world view that is stuck in the Cold War era. I don't reference just this post but a few others you have made on outside of the English speaking world. |

Obviously it will never happen, but Lebron taking a starting lineup of Lavar, Liangelo, Randle, and Nance to the playoffs would be the impressive accomplishment of his career. |

Even if Walton was a shit coach, the very last thing the Lakers would do now, or any time soon, is launch Luke because of it might/would look. |

Customers may want to think twice before buying products from Big Baller Brand. According to a Monday report from TMZ Sports, the Better Business Bureau said LaVar Ball's company has an F, the lowest grade it gives out. The Better Business Bureau "has been inundated with complaints from customers who either didn't get their orders…or got the wrong ones." Big Baller Brand earned 41 negative reviews—33 of which are formal complaints—to zero positive ones. The Better Business Bureau CEO of Central California, Blair Looney, told TMZ Sports, "This is very definitely substandard normal business practices for anybody." |
