Great work today! This felt very 2005-2007ish to me. With Mac back our community will likely grow even more. Who knew that Doc would be interviewing the new afternoon hosts last year?

Parkins may still be talking if he didn't end the interview.

I just finished all of today's threads, and your performance wasn't that of a star. We should put out a press release that you were sick or injured.

We're Kingmakers down in this studio.

I was just shocked it's not Bernsie and JLN on middays.

Beardown battled exhaustion after a grueling tour schedule.

It was not. We were back to talking about the subject that is the essence of this board: sports talk radio in Chicago. Loved it!

As far as major events that get this place moving, Id say middle of the pack

Not close to Webio, MSFMB, or the Cutler trade.

I prefer talking about sports. I do not prefer talking about people who sometimes talk about sports and sound less informed than us while doing it.

I agree with you on this. When I first discovered this place I didn't really notice the local team threads. Guess my dumbass didn't think enough to scroll down. The only threads that I remember were the show threads. Invariably each thread always seemed to involved some sort of speculation as to the host that was next in line to be axed. Beardown speculative stuff for the most part. That stuff never interested me.

Discussions about the actual shows were cool but much of the talk tended to devolve into gossipy "this guy doesn't really like working with that guy" stuff.
