And I know it's the county, not just the city, but good for them. Baltimore's had an especially shitty run the past few years...the people, I mean.

Baltimore County excludes Baltimore City. It's the St. Louis deal.

I've driven by this place dozens of times as I have friends who live there. 20 years ago, I'm not sure they even had dorms. It is sort of as if Northeastern Illinois over by the Channel 11 studios had won.

In that case, F them

Always knew it could happen. Never expected it to be an ass whooping. They destroyed the overall #1 seed. Talk about madness!

I don't want to shit in anyone's ice cream, but has there ever been a worse #1 seed than Virginia?

Still, great story though. Inspiring to many.

31-2? Most single season wins in ACC history? #1 team in country?

All defense, no offense.

Their uniforms look like they came from a mom-and-pop sporting goods store. I think they're using the Brush Script font like a dang PowerPoint presentation.

Not that hard to understand. UMBC shot great. Virginia played terrible. Once things got going against them they are not really built to be a team that can mount big comebacks especially without the 6th man who was a big part of their offense.

From what I watched it was a lot of fast breaks and corner threes. Virginia would take a shot, miss, and suddenly a UMBC guy was sprinting down the court in the other direction in all alone.

Biggest upset of all time?

It's big, but not that big.

The NCAA tournament actually matters. The Miracle on Ice took place during a glorified exhibition.
