Love the town, Miller park ( so glad I was there this weekend, where it was comfortable to watch the 2 games this weekend, versus going to opening day at Wrigley tomorrow, where it will be freezing cold) , Comedy Sportz comedy club, good restaurants. Great place for a weekend every time. One of my very favorite suburbs of Chicago.

I watched some of the games on tv and whenever they cut to the Cub fans in the stands they all looked like annoying bunch of douche's.

Did any of the Brewer fans want to punch the Cub fans in their face? If the tables were turned and some other team fans acted like that in Wrigley, I'm pretty sure we cub fans wouldn't be happy.

The Brewers fans should come out and support their team. Half a stadium of opponent fans vs an arch rival is embarrassing.

I don't get it. Great park, fun team to watch.

Miller park is one of my favorite experiences. The tail gating is akin to a football game. Plus I highly recommend going to the Third Ward district before the game. It doesn't have the bar atmosphere outside the stadium of other fun ball parks (Fenway, Wrigley, Coors as examples), but the tail gate makes up for that.

Overall, the team is supported fairly well.

The Brewers shit the bed this off season and I'm guessing there isn't much hope / excitement about the team contending. They needed pitching....didn't get it done.

The Brewers drew the 10th most fans last year at over 2.5 million. Not sure why you don't think they get fans to come just because the Cubs
fans invade and buy up all the tickets when playing up there. They drew almost a million more than the White Sox.

I didn't know that they can only heat the inside to 30 degrees more than the outside temp...so I think it was only about 60 on Friday.

I hear getting out of the parking lot @ Miller Park is a bitch.

Wasn’t that bad when I went last year. It’s not terrific but it was relatively painless.

Lies. It is brutal. Very brutal. They funnel all cars from the main East lots into essentially one lane of traffic...and the earlier you get there, the worse it is, because the exit is toward the 'back' of the lot. So you have to be a huge douche in terms of driving the opposite way to the flow of most traffic trying to exit in order to get in the lines near the back, because no one at the back of the lot, near exiting, lets anyone else in.

That said, the rest of the Miller Park experience is great. And as a Cubs fan, it is fun letting the Brewers know it is the Cubs' stadium when we're in town. Especially this year, when the Brewers organization tried to prevent Cubs fans from getting tickets.

Spoilers: It didn't work.

Or you hang out and relax for a little bit before they start making people leave...

And sometimes I've done that. Sometimes schedule does not allow. Folks had Saturday night plans back in Chicago.

Clark: "First ones here!.."
Ellen: "But, we're so far away!??"
Clark: "Right!, Right!..and at the end of the day when the lots all full and everyone's fighting to get out of here..we'll be the first ones out too! Right!?!?!"

 I probably laugh way too hard at that scene..like didn't something seem off that not ONE single car is on the lot? Employees? etc?

Despite having a massive amount of parking, the in/out is terrible. Luckily, you are getting there pretty early for the tail gate, so the people coming in are doing so at varying times. But the getting out is slow and annoying.

Well, Steve, Milwaukee has certainly had its share of visitors. The French missionaries and explorers were coming here as early as the late 1600s to trade with the Native Americans. In fact, it's pronounced "mill-e-wah-que" which is Algonquin for "the good land." I think one of the most interesting things about Milwaukee is that it's the only American city to elect three Socialist mayors.

It's always funny to see Cubs fans bragging they can go to a stadium that is 90 miles away. Such dedication to take an hour and 20 minute drive!

A local fan base has proven that distance does not make it easier nor harder to attend.

That is about your commute time from the Suburbs to Wrigley.

I’m not sure it’s not less drive time to Miller. It’s a minimal difference either way and an easier drive for most part. And the Spotted Cow purchase is s bonus.
