Top 4 all made the NBA; not bad at all.

Wouldn't place him in front of Simmons.

I got Rick Pitino's autograph when he came to MC to watch Kevin Frey practice before their game in the "Great Eight" in December of 96. We should have had him, Leon Smith and Emmanuel Dildy on that team.

This was a helluva class. I still remember watching Manual and Young hook it up at Proviso West in some neutral site game. Frank Williams and Quentin Richardson put on a show.

Saw Maggette and Richardson matchup at Northwestern. High School basketball was for real back then.

Not really. i saw Joey Range play in high school and the game i watched he scored a lot but wasn't all that skilled. All layups. No ball handling or jump shot highly productive with not a lot of game.

I'm kidding. He was a great athlete but that's about it. That's why he didn't do shit at Iowa.

If nothing else he should be remembered for his name alone. Perfect basketball name. If only his name was more in line with his basketball disposition he'd have truly been a beast.

Did I ever tell you the story of sitting in the Duke locker room with a half dressed coach K breaking down a tape of the Illini and him swearing about how much he hated Lucas Johnson?
