in retrospect, the backlash he took for calling himself a soldier might've been the most unjustified and ridiculous public outcry in the past 20 years. Or how about the Dixie Chicks and the abuse they took for criticizing George Bush and the war? Nowadays you'd be hard pressed to find a celebrity that hasn't spoken out against a President or anything else in the news. |
