Running commercials to remind souses to consume water while pickling their livers with booze. Doing the Lord's work.

i never understand why bartenders and everyone trying to sell you alcohol doesnt tell you this. the more water you drink the more alcohol you end up buying.

a 1:1 ratio of water to booze is a good rule of thumb to stay happy without going over the edge.

I've been listening to our two hot country stations, trying to get to the bottom of what that's all about (it's basically twangy adult contemporary.) There's only about eight songs in rotation, but five or six of them mention Crown Royal , or "Crown" specifically.

How do you think music has stayed a lucrative business despite the fact that nobody pays more than $10 a month for music anymore.

It's Bro-Co.
Brought to you by SoCo.
Motley Crue and Guns N Roses and Lou Reed were more nuanced about excessive intoxicants.
Trucks, girls in cut off shorts, 'dranks', the troops, etc.
It's all the same song with the same BPM and chords, just sung by different hacks/hicks.

Do it while you still can; Big 95.5 cannot be long for this world.

Another bartending story:

The great golfer, Ray Floyd, drank "Crown Royal mist with a twist". He would hang a bit at The Lodge when in town.

He always said "with a twist" even tho your pro tenders know any 'mist' comes with a twist.

He also owned a white Bentley with the suicide doors. His flunky gave me a ride in it once around The Street of Dreams.

"nobody cares"-farnk

I see many these days drinking Crown Apple and Sprite. Younger ones usually.

Crown gave me the worst hangover I've ever had...can't even stand the smell of it at this point.
