How about letting that decide what people discuss on here as opposed to always attempting to steer it in the direction that best serves your own interest. Whether it is race, politics, sports, guns, law enforcement sportsradio etc let the people decide what they want to discuss as opposed to always taking upon yourself to tell posters what they should talk about. Among the things that becomes tedious and boring after awhile that would be it. |

That being said because sports is kinda the reason the place exists I personally would prefer if that dominated the discussion. That's just my personal opinion. I'm not speaking for the other Wisemen. |

I can tell you beyond any doubt that other than the three of you, and you know exactly who the other two are, who obessively post about the Mueller investigation are not the reason any poster (other than yourselves) comes to the site. |

As Nas said I think that the marketplace of ideas does drive discussion. Everyone is free to post what they want. |

The Chicago Sports media section is essentially her section. If you played the drinking game for each time that section was headed by her thread you'd never be sober. |

Funny coming from Croissant America who is a race-baiting fool. Maybe now we can all follow your lead and make derogatory comments about monkeys. Talk about hypocrisy |

They bitch and moan about a sportsradio station (and people on here too) discussing the 2nd most popular sport in this country. To the detractors it is nothing more than a political and social experiment. How derogatory and condescending can they get? |

How derogatory and condescending can they get? i thought people come here to watch a couple'a board members get in prolonged fights that transcend single threads and "spill over" into the "general discourse" because it's got that nice downhome meta feel that makes us feel like we're taking part in history. naw i'm just kidding. people come here to talk about julie dicaro because they're obsessed with her in much the same way everyone is obsessed with liverpool football club. plus hanging out with HOF-caliber talents like darko and frank = who doesn't wanna be a part of history whilst slagging off the rotund chick with a propensity to show her feet? we need something to do while waiting for new podcasts! |

The problem with the marketplace of ideas is that some people have so little it throws everything out of balance. |

If this place is as strong as some proclaim it to be then it will simply withstand it or ignore them. I don't pay any attention to over 90% of the threads on here. Never post in them and rarely read them. Rather than the self aggrandizing voicing of displeasure simply try that. Shitting on threads that you don't like under the guise of what you think others do not like is weak and really doesn't make for a better place either. |
