For lifting up the name of Jesus Christ on the Score. He had an amazing testimony. It was the best interview I've ever heard on the Score. Great to listen to atheists listen to Jesus.

It was a very strange interview. If what he said was true it is amazing he is still alive and healthy. Certainly was a believer in Jebus
and had no issues mentioning him at every turn. Good on him for turning his life around but it was kind of uncomfortable radio for
me.

yeah. wonder what rich mullins did to piss jesus off so much that he died in a gruesome auto accident in which a semi-truck impaled him violently. i guess singing "our god is an awesome god" just wasn't good enough to not die a horrible death at age 41.

Mac and Parkins said afterward they didn't have much to gain by belaboring the Jesus/Hell/One way to recover thing. Glad someone can get their life in order when needed no matter how it happened.

The thing is though it is not only the very faithful evangelical types that live the Jesus/AA is the only way to do things. It is really ingrained in our society pretty deep. Most troubling is how the criminal system stresses/coerces it.

Heard an interview with a former meth addict who said pretty much the same thing. He said it's not for everyone.

Why was Jesus on the cross if he didn't sin and people could save themselves? If people weren't in danger of hell why did God send him to Earth?

There are plenty of reprobates that die in car accidents along with Christian people. Question: Would you rather die instantly in a car or have a slow horrible death from cancer? Look nobody is going to leave this planet without dying.

God doesn't promise that if you are obedient that your life is going to be awesome all the time and you're going to suffer. There are Christians who were tortured and murdered by Is is, so a car accident is not the worst way to go. You have to remember that all of Jesus' disciples were martyed except for John.

Jesus said he did not come to condemn the world, but to save it. I bet 95 to 99 percent of this message board doesn't know who Rich Mullins is or the Tribulation Force.

God is not in the business of disqualifying sinners from his service on Earth. Moses committed murder. David committed adultery and murder. Paul hunted down Christians to stone them. Rahab was a prostitute.

The reason why we need Christ is because there is injustice in the world and either people must pay for the injustice or agree to let the innocent Lamb of God make a sacrifice in their place. If someone died for you, don't you owe him your life?
