In any case, when asked about the Bulls’ defensive problems since Justin Holiday was traded to the Grizzlies on Jan. 3, guard Zach LaVine wasn’t exactly heaping credit on Holiday.

“I mean, Justin is a good player, but I don’t think it’s just Justin, you know?” LaVine said. “I don’t know what it is. Justin is a real good player, but I don’t think he’s something like where you take him off the team and he’s like LeBron James.

LaVine really shouldn't talk about defense when he's allergic to it.

Nah, he's a good offensive player. It's like Cody Parkey criticizing another kicker.

Agree. This comment was made after that Idiot Boylen tried to use the trade of Holiday as an excuse for the Bulls poor play.

The thing with Holiday is that at least a few of the wins for the Bulls this year were a result of him catching fire from the perimeter, something that happens once every 8 or 9 games. Of course, the current coach seems to think it should be illegal to attempt 3-pointers at all, so I doubt there'd be much of a difference in results even if he was still with the team.

He was a net negative player however. He was the cause of a number of those close losses also. Holiday was a bum.
