I’ve never turned on him. This man does not want to go home or go to Cancun. He’s been the best 76er in the postseason and it’s not really close.

Hope they can get him to stay there with a big deal.

I'm not watching, but I also love him for simply schooling the team starters by himself. Fire and pashun.

Still the mouthiest "superstar" never to make a conference final. Jimmy McGrady.

I'm sure it wasn't his fault.

That's because it wasn't. He's a 19, 6, and 5 player in the regular season and he's a 19, 6, and 5 in the playoffs.

Real superstars are 35 6 & 5 players when they have to be in the post season.

McGrady never won a postseason series and Jimmy has never won a 2nd round series(in a much more diluted NBA vs what McGrady played in) they are pretty damn close.

There's nobody saying he's a superstar except Jimmy. And let's face it. He wouldn't be where he is, an all star on the very end of the bench, without thinking the way he does.

There are people here who think he is a superstar too.

3 straight possessions he wasn't good enough to even get a shot off. Some Top 10 player he is.

If he were all that good he wouldn't have been completely outclassed by Kawhi Leonard. Outplayed yeah but outclassed no. Kawhi Leonard demonstrated that he was at least 2 levels better than Butler.

I hear what you're saying. Some sphincters got tight on the floor and the bench. Read where the Sixers were +90 with Embiid on the floor. What does that say about the rest of the players and secondarily, the coach? Or maybe that isn't the question. I honestly don't know. Maybe most of that +90 is just the defensive end. What's your thoughts?

Going into game 7 I think they were -91 or something like that when he was off the floor. Heard someone here claim that he was detrimental to his team. Yeah right. They became better from the first game of the first year that he actually started playing for them.

Yeah he definitely didn't play all that well offensively in the series. I think it had a lot to do with the illness thing. That is the beauty of Embiid. When he has got it going he can be dominant on both the offensive and defensive side.

One of the reasons that he is and probably will be susceptible to injury is because of the way he competes defensively. He challenges every shot, dives in the stands for loose balls and dives on the floor for loose balls a lot. He competes the way guys want bigs to compete.

I have some doubts about Brown but they probably made the correct call in deciding to bring him back another year

An unbelievable -111 without him.

That number is so big it's unavoidable to say The Sixers sucked without him. And if the Sixers suck without him, why? If I was in the FO, I'd be in a panic.

I think the two biggest things were the lack of a backup big and lack of a backup point.

Their bench was rather thin in general but those two spots had gaping holes in them.

Butler tried as a backup point but he can't be the long term answer.

Embiid has had a huge impact from the moment he suited up. Even the year he played in only 31 games.
