You know, he's sang for kings and queens and one thing is for sure–he loves things that are great. [singing] He loves things that are great, good things are fantastic…guess what? He also paints…just a hobby, nothing drastic. Cause he digs everything except the things he doesn’t and he’ll try anything except the things he says he won’t. But one things’s for sure…he loves things that are gre-e-e-e-eat! Yeah! [stops singing] |

Seconded. Great crooner that ranks right up there with Ol' Blue Eyes and Dino. Seen home movies of Tony Bennett singing at Rosalie Profaci and Bill Bonanno's wedding. It is believed that this gave Mario Puzo the idea for the Johnny Fontaine character to sing at Connie & Carlo's wedding in The Godfather. The Profaci/Bonanno marriage was right out of the pages of history combining two strong houses/families to create even more power. |
