Keyser needs to make an appearance and take a bow. Anderson has been outstanding. |

Pretty cool, having 2/3 of the triple crown stats leaders in the AL is impressive. |

yeah, but can he put down any amazing tag? He'll just have to settle for being the only chicago ss that has won a batting title in the last 50+ years |

billypootons wrote: so it wasnt cowardly to pull him after he started the game 0-2? no. Lemaihu had already started 0-2 in an earlier game so there was no way he was catching tim He would have had to go 4-4 and tim 0-4 yesterday to be tied. |

I doubt that even when they drafted him Tim Anderson ever projected to be a batting champion. I hope he develops other facets of his game. I'm not sure he is an annual .300 hitter but I think he can be a 25 HR and 50 SB player next year. |

Saw a bunch of adults standing in line at the Orland Square Mall on Saturday waiting to get Anderson’s autograph at the Sox store. I don’t know what was worse taste those standing in line to get a relatively mediocre professional athlete’s autograph or those in the long line at Pandora to get some trinket crap to wear on their wrist. |

There would have been parades if it had been done by someone in blue pinstripes. |

Anderson seems like a good person who wants to improve his community and still have fun playing baseball. If this team improves and he keeps improving, he can be a face of the city for years to come. |
