Sounds like Joe has a case. Hopefully he either wins enough money to retire or the judge tells him in a makeup call on life to fuck off and dismisses the case. |

No fan of Joe West, but if that claim is at all false, I hope Joe grounds Lo Duca into a fine powder. If Lo Duca's claim is true, then that would of course be the end of Joe, and perhaps might knock the umpire's union down a few pegs. |

It cost him 500K because he didn't even respond in court. All he had to do was hire an attorney and the whole thing would have gone away with a retraction and an apology. |
