Likely coming soon to a National League team near you! Congrats Cubs, you finally will have a position for Schwarber to strikeout at. |

That Stark idea is stupid. DH until the starter leaves the game. When the starter is replaced by a reliever, the guy batting DH hits the pines and that spot in the order is taken by the reliever. |

Everyone loves watching the 9 spot go .128/.160/.162 Except that's not the main reason for having them hit...it was more about the decision to pull the pitcher. Though now it's becoming a moot point with starters not even going a third time through the lineup. |

Pitcher hits first time through lineup, DH hits second time through, etc. -Use the previous day's starting pitcher as the automatic DH -Have a DH for the starter only. Make the relievers hit, or you have to use a PH. -Just use a batting lineup of 8 |

If this happens, might as well go all the way and do away with the NL and AL, period, and do a complete league realignment. Interleague play has ruined the differentiation enough as it is. |

Back when the NL had all the horrid cookie cutter stadia with rock hard astro turf it WAS different, but that was 30 years ago. Hell even the Dodgers and Cardinals are free swingers now. |

I know it's a done deal and the they will move the NL to DH eventually....doesn't mean I have to like it. They did ruin a lot of it with the current use of interleague play....I'm sure they could fix it, but they won't. Interleague play was cool when it was a few limited weeks in the middle of the season. Now...it's all homogenized. Boo. I'll still love baseball..I just like the leagues being different. The MLBPA will see that this happens sooner rather than later. |

Love baseball. Never cared for the DH. Interleague play was a fun gimmick, but it is no longer of any importance. I like the division heavy schedules. With an odd number of teams in each league now, interleague can’t go away without other changes. The game has bigger frustrations right now. The slow pace of play is most concerning. The game drags at around the sixth inning with all the pitching changes. And guys that can’t put a ball in play is another big one on my list. |

Plenty of NL teams have a DH on their roster, they just don't realize it *cough* Cubs *cough* |

I'd rather them leave it alone than do some stupid thing like that. If the public wants to see 9 hitters hit through the line-up which obviously is why they are talking about adding the DH in the National league then do it and be done with it. |
