This guy knows what he is doing, and he makes great food. He kept thousands of people fed after Hurricane Maria. Now he has teamed up with the Nationals and Levy to use the dormant Nationals Park to cook free meals for the needy in Southeast DC:

He was supposed to be bringing his DC tapas restaurant Jaleo to River North this year. I've eaten at Jaleo at least a dozen times over the years of business travel. Definitely a business worth patronizing if he gets a Chicago location open.

He seems like a good guy. You know who else is out there doing a lot of relief with relatively little fanfare right now is Guy Fieri.

I don't recall. You can ask him when he shows up to vote for Spaulding.
