Her tyrannical turn is going to be used against democrats who already have to combat their reputation for being overbearing and controlling. |

It is nice to see the protests in MI and NC. Hoping we start seeing a lot more, especially locally |

When the weather gets nice and people get arrested for going to a park its going to be a fever pitch. There has to be advisors to these people who starting to suggest that some of the restrictions must be loosened. Michigan has crazy weird things they are banning. Like rules against gardening or advising people to limit their intake of liquids so they dont use the toilet. People are banned from going to vacation homes or even going on a boat. Its draconian to the extreme. A lot of places have gone way too far, but Michigan has taken it to the next level to the point where it does feel tyrannical. Why this was allowed to happen in a state controlled by a democrat that the democrats absolutely must win this November? I dont know. I dont understand the machinations of that party anymore, they seem almost opposed to winning. |

It's probably a good message to send for the long term but Michigan was also a major problem area for the virus just a few days ago. "You can't go to your vacation home until May 1st" isn't exactly a shocking thing to put under non-essential travel. |

Fact is the United States is supposed to still be representative democracy with elected officials beholden to the will of their people. If people dont want the restrictions they should not have to abide them. |

Yeah I re-read what I got it from and it was guidelines for people who were to protest not from the governor. Whatever, these rules are still crazy. |

The group in Michigan that is organizing the protests (Michigan Conservative Committee) said to limit drink intakes because there wouldn't be public restrooms available where they were protesting. |

This is not a normal circumstance where she can just be voted out. She's violating rights so basic they were considered too obvious to even write down in the constitution. You had more freedom in autocratic dictatorships than present-day Michigan. Tell me who it imperils for you to drive, in your sealed car, to your home two hours away? How does that put the public health at risk? |

As somebody who has family up there that makes Darko's "Libertarian" views look like Hillary Clinton, this isn't even conservatives. This is the red hat mafia pissed that the Governor won't bend over to Dear Leader. Most of the state just wants people to listen and get this over with as quickly and with as little death as possible. |

Maybe before you gargle bleach to get rid of the virus you should check out Dear Leader's twitter if you are looking for Chinese ball gargling. I really would have loved to see your reaction if it had been the guy in the tan suit standing in the rose garden saying he had unlimited power and if you don't like it fuck off there will be consequences. We all know how well you would have taken that. |
