https://youtu.be/K3DXET6MWP8 Doing some uplifting from home. Not everyone is an opera fan but this aria is stunningly beautiful and worth 4 minutes |

Can we get him to sing the Anthem outside Tubbys place? Maybe the virus will pack up and head home like the Seahawks did before the playoff game when he sang |

I'm partial to John Vincent. Love Maddon's reaction at the end. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DvwIkfVZ5Nc Wonder if he was still working at Ditka's. |

I spent 30 minutes in a hotel room with him on a Tuesday afternoon a few years ago. I thought the other guests were going to complain about the noise. |

He did the full-on anthem at full volume at 2pm in the afternoon. It was crazy loud. Showed us the championship rings. It was pretty cool. Nice guy. And, yes, he'll show up about anywhere for about $500-$1000....to sing. CFMB outing. |

I’m honestly not sure there was more than RR 1 here. Maybe 2 was south of town. This address was RR1. Skeeters old place. Skeeter moved out in 1947. |

We had an old little metal plate at the end of our lane with our Fire District number if we ever needed to call into town for a fire. I remember it was a 4-digit number but I never knew what it was. If we had a fire, I would be useless. Ironically, when my Dad got sick and we were forced to sell the farmhouse, some guy from Aurora bought it, did some weird renovations, and after about 5 years, it burned to the ground. My family built that house in the late 1800s. I still don't know the fire code though. |

My family built that house in the late 1800s. I still don't know the fire code though. So we had a small fire 2 months after we moved here. Called in with the 911 number but got the fire out by ourselves. Told this to fire dispatch person but they had to come out for insurance or something. Hours go bye and finally the rural fire department shows up. They are in a panic because they can’t find this fire. I told them it was here but we got it out and the guy almost faints thinking a house was burning to the ground. They had been driving around looking for smoke, went south out of town instead of north and were in a panic. He’s said something to the affect of “thank God.. next time just tell them the address is Skeeters old place.” Welcome to Bureau county. |

Yeah..I think they built Bureau Valley in 96. I know friends my age graduated from the smaller schools before consolidation but younger siblings went to the consolidated. They moved the middle schools to that campus now too, think that starts next year. Maybe north stayed in Walnut, these towns are loath to give up schools (don’t blame them). |

The only way we can determine who's better is to first shoot Cornelison in the throat, let him get better, and then we can have a more 'apples-to-apples', or Adams apple-to-Adams apple, comparison. It's really the only fair way. |
