Don't mean to be a party pooper, but I just think it is unfathomably unlikely for a space-fairing species to, one, find us by accident and observe us and, two, allow their craft/probes to be discovered by us.

These are beings that would have to be able to harness energy production at levels we can barely conceive of in order to make an interstellar road trip to check us out, but we are naive enough to think that they would allow themselves to be seen by the FLIR on a Super Hornet?

Especially because it is literally super easy to discover us if it is literally just us, from the future, discovering us again for the second or whatever time, because it is just literally us with normal spacecraft that travels through time, but to the right now us it is.a UFO because we literally dont know what the **** our own spacecraft looks like because we are living in the passed.
