He believes that God is the solution. I can respect that. MANY on BOTH SIDES aren't believers.

Well the CNN article looks to be a straight news story, while the Yahoo one is clearly an opinion piece.

notice in Goodwill's piece the lower case g for God, except when quoting Isaac

You can find many a churchgoer praying to their god every Sunday, shedding tears over the senseless loss of a loved one at the hands of the state. Perhaps Isaac should’ve consulted them before stepping out front.

Doc Rivers said over the weekend that kneeling was hard on his knees. That's what I thought when I first saw it and thought that I'd never do it. And wouldn't care about the reaction on either side about the hollow gesture, again, on either side.

Yeah I agree. Much to do about nothing. I didn't think it was a big deal when Kaepernick did it either.

When he said kneeling has nothing to do with saving black lives he was correct.
