Congrats on 1 hell of a career. He was the voice of the greatest Blackhawks playoff moments in the last decade and he gave those moments the calls they deserved

Such a classy guy to call his final series and not tell us until a month later so that none of the attention would be on him instead of the game.

I have mixed feelings about his work, but you can't argue with his place in history. Don't forget he did local coverage of all those elite Devils teams, too.

Doc's pronunciation of Lucic when he was on Boston always tickled me : Luc-cheeeeeeeecch.

Awww, leave Eddie alone.

I didn’t enjoy Doc’s calls as much as I enjoyed his banter and stories. He definitely is another unique, old-timey-type broadcaster that we are sadly seeing less of as time goes on.
