Congrats on 1 hell of a career. He was the voice of the greatest Blackhawks playoff moments in the last decade and he gave those moments the calls they deserved |

Such a classy guy to call his final series and not tell us until a month later so that none of the attention would be on him instead of the game. |

I have mixed feelings about his work, but you can't argue with his place in history. Don't forget he did local coverage of all those elite Devils teams, too. |

I didn’t enjoy Doc’s calls as much as I enjoyed his banter and stories. He definitely is another unique, old-timey-type broadcaster that we are sadly seeing less of as time goes on. |
