This guy isn't either, but he wrote an album based on Illinois (did one for Michigan as well).

I think that he meant to prove that he just wanted to post an incoherent rant.

How come nobody outside of Chicago knows of this guy and the history of how he helped us during the revolution?

but ya sadly he will be deleted or cancelled if he's not already.

in today's new america, the revolution was a means to keep and protect slavery. every academic and historian not afraid to get cancelled, has ridiculed this absurd group-think concept of 'woke' america.

unfortunately, well-meaning people in important positions (teachers) seep this to impressionable minds. imagine what will be socially and academically debated in 25 years??

Yes, the battle was "Little Big Horn" but the chief was Crazy Horse. Forgive my white ignorance.

There is a fort, counties in at least three states, roads, etc. all named after him.

Ask anyone walking down the street outside of Chicagoland and they'll not know who he is.

That there are so many in the deep South surprised the hell out of me after living down there for four years.

Maybe the markets are paying homage today.

The fort is where the Polish Mine Detector was invented. You start backing up and waving the detector in front of you.

Probably every state apart from the Western ones has a town named after Pulaski.

And we can't blame the goings-on in Pulaski, Tennessee, 150 years ago on its namesake.

I think he is pretty well know in the southeast.

He's a revolutionary war hero but not a founding father. I wouldn't expect the average jamoke to know. I bet most wouldn't know the French generals either

They pronounce the one in Tennessee "Pew-laski". I know a guy who is from there.
