Wow. I would be surprised if MLB does not step in and reduce capacity a little bit. But if not, good for them. |

Either you believe they work or they dont. If you believe they work you need to do the whole social distance thing . If 50,000 show up with masks on but are in close quarters you may as well forget the masks as theyll be ineffective. Its either or. |

Very confused. So full capacity first game and then going back to X amount capacity after it? Makes no sense. |

Kirkwood wrote: dumb. partial capacity and no mask. the point is to get to no masking. no masking isn't happening anytime soon, its far too dangerous, there are dangerous variants out there. If you are good you may be allowed to see a friend on the fourth of july if you are both vaccinated and wear masks and socially distance. |

If wearing a mask makes the frightened among us somehow feel safe, we are all stuck with it. |

The benefit of the pandemic in Chicago is that seating restrictions will allow Cub fans to enjoy Wrigley Field with the attendance of Sox park. The last Sox game in 2019 I went to drew 9,000 people on a weeknight. |

Mine was $60 (edit: just under 70 was my bill) and I didn’t lose power. I have a fixed rate plan. People who had those bills (which I think are being adjusted down) are people whose electric plans were based on the wholesale market price. Those people love it when the wholesale market is really low like it would be normally. Not so good when when the market was tough. I agree that Ercot shouldn’t have charged that much for wholesale and they are being sued because of it. I also think that there shouldn’t be any plans based on the wholesale market price because people aren’t smart enough to know what that means and how wholesale prices affect their monthly bills. Edit: every summer there is outrage over sky high bills when it’s 100 F for a few weeks from the folks who have the plans based on the wholesale price. So nothing new for Texas. And the advice always given is this: If you don't understand the plan, don't sign up for it. |
