I can't remember if it is cool to like him or not.

But I love that Diners show and when he was cooking at home via Zoom with other chefs. That was pretty fun.

He earned it. More power to him.

Well worth it. His shows are great. I hear his restaurants suck though. They are like an Applebee's for people who think Applebee's is too healthy.

I find it incredibly frustrating that they don't scroll the name and location of the restaurant on the screen and then maybe restate it at the end of the show.

Agreed. Early on during the shutdowns (march-april 2020), he was one of the only 'celebrity' chefs that was doing fundraising to put money directly into the pockets of out of work restauranteurs. Also, he's been known to show up unannounced during wildfire season in the west and cook/feed a shit ton of firemen and first responders at his cost.

And then Geoffrey Zakarian can clean up when everyone is done. I don't think he likes things dirty or out of place. He reminds me of Phil Hartman's anal retentive guy on SNL.
