It's sad that Josh Gibson and others Negro Leagues stars FINALLY get the recognition they deserve and snowflakes see it as an attack on them. Grumpy old men fiending to be a victim.

You forget that a lot of Negro League players are in the Baseball Hall of Fame; that's the ultimate recognition of their abilities.

MLB recognized that wasn't enough. I didn't really care one way or the other. Why does it bother you? Stats are generally meaningless. You love the people you saw and the people your parents told you to love.

Not only was Juneteenth just made a national holiday, but it already ranks higher than New Year's Day. June 19th falls on a Sunday this year and markets are closed on Monday, June 20. New Year's Day fell on a Saturday this year and markets were open fully on the following Monday.
