His personal coach is a Bucks assistant now, and a family friend. He has been saying for a number of years what a class guy he is and how he is the only NBA player he would trust on a date with his two daughters. |

I do not like the Bucks at all. But I have got a lot of respect for Giannis. Guy stuck with his original team and has worked hard to try and get them to a championship, and it looks like he has been successful in that. Guys like Durant and Lebron could take a lesson from him. |

I love seeing stuff like that with athletes. There was a Keith commercial made me cry the first few times I saw it. Sharp was a dud and it made him less hot. |

When LeBron went back to shitty Cleveland he said the same things and more to bring a title home, but oddly I remember few kudos around here. This thread just sounds more like a desire to crapping on certain guys. Just like with Kawhi in Toronto. No talking, but he forced his way outta San Antonio because of shitty doctors and bullshit teammates, so he's ignored in this thread. There's no consistent standard here. Not a surprise. |

There is never going to be a consistent standard on things like this. The whole take my talents to south beach debacle ruined any good will I had for Lebron. Then he did it again to Cleveland after going back. Durant sells out and goes to GS. I thought Kawahi was built differently but then he does the same thing. I just dont respect that. We all have different views of such things. I hate the Bucks and cannot cheer for them, but I will respect Giannis for staying there and working to building a winner rather than taking his talents to Miami, GS, or LA |

And I'm not even a fan of either LeBron or Kawhi. And actually like Giannis. But the inconsistency is irritating. I mean for God's sake the degrees to which people are going to to shit on American black athletes is ridiculous. Hockey players? |

I ain't speaking for any other guys here. It just sounds like you are saying that I have my view on this because the guys are black. Maybe I misunderstood what you meant. My thoughts on Lebron and Durant have to do with their decisions not on what color they are. |

Biggest prima-donnas in the major sports. Wide receivers, running backs, NBA players ( " load management" ) , Lucas Giolito. Sorry that the majority are also black. |

But what's the need to bring irrelevant guys into a shout out thread about a guy who isn't an American athlete to shit on more local guys with multiple rings? |

And you're oddly silent about guys like Luka who effectively got his coach fired this summer. |

You bring up the race of athletes receiving criticism in response to someone's comments. He responds saying his views have nothing to do with race, to which your response accuses HIM of bringing up race. His next response then points out that it was in fact you who referenced the race of the athletes, and in return you accuse HIM of saying that "many here aren't" criticizing athletes based on their race. It's sick and rather pathetic how hard you try to call someone a racist, and even worse that you aren't regularly pilloried for it by MANY here. |
