He’s been one of the worst coaches in the league for awhile now but tonight he’s painting his masterpiece. Since GB is now garbage this is my only joy.

14 points...last year I would have expected 9-13. I guess that's progress.

Winston lit up GB for 14 in one quarter twice.

R.I.P. The Visor

But, Nagy does have them tied for 1st in the division at least.

That's why I pounded the Rams, another putrid offensive performance.. maybe the offense needed more reps in pre season.

I don’t want Nagy as coach so I don’t want to defend him really, but Pace has to get the bigger pile of blame for this. Nagy didn’t leave the team without corners and tackles.

neither of those were a glaring problem yesterday. I was kind of impressed with the corner play.

Pace gave him top end speed at WR, I'm sure at Nagy's request. Nagy decided to run the same 8 yard routes he ran with Anthony Miller. Pace gave him a running back who has clearly developed year after year and is now prepared to be a workhorse. Nagy gave him 16 carries despite a 6.75 ypc average.

Pace isn't the one who loses EVERY first quarter, every third quarter, and every game in which there is extra time to prepare, which would be a seeming advantage. Pace isn't the one who has to call timeouts because of lack of discipline and then invariably comes out of the time out with a disaster of a play.

I’m the first guy to slag Nagy for not running the ball and his weekly we’ll run the ball more next week, that’s my fault press conferences, but they ran it enough when the game was still close. We’ll see how they run when the other team doesn’t line up with 5 in the box every play or have Montgomery break a ridiculous amount of tackles.

All valid points but on the WR point you're implying Nagy should morph into Martz - call long pass plays that require the kind of pass protection the offensive line can't provide.

Also, when you're down two scores in the second half, you need to pass no matter how good your RB is doing.

Thats not true though. When you’re down two scores you need to score twice - doesn’t matter how. If the running game is moving the chains then that’s a better option than hoping Dalton suddenly becomes John Elway.

Also, when you cut the lead to one score and give your defense nearly a 9 minute break on the bench, it would be nice if they could force a punt.

Yes but I specifically said second half. At that point, depending on the time, you're forced to abandon the run more than you'd like because the four yard to seven yard ideal runs chew up too much clock.

Too bad management couldn’t have figured that prior to the season opener.

Nagy is like ordering the KC offense from WISH.

It's ironic that his playbook says, BE YOU, but his whole offense is a copy of Andy Reid. He will never have success if he keeps trying to copy KC.

Well, like Trestman, Nagy will never get another NFL head coaching job.

With the defense turning around all of a sudden, I don't see how you can play a rookie who holds onto the ball forever. Dalton's quick release throws helps offset the horrible offensive line

I think 66.

They have like 8 skill guys on the roster that are 6’ 6”. A very low probability Hail Mary beats a zero probability record FG in the worst kicking stadium in the league.

Knowing Nagy, his next best play would have been a deep route by Mooney that had him stop two yards shy of the end zone.

Yep.

If that is his only accomplishment, it will be significant
