There might not be a well known guy among them, other than Griese, but I thought the ESPN crew did a superb job covering the NY - KC game.

I was genuinely entertained and was laughing hard at the pre-game "C'mon Man" clip of a college player who was unfortunate enough to run into the kicker's net on the sideline. The net completely devoured him. Forgot who he played for or which game it was, but it had me rolling on the floor laughing.

I ended up watching the coverage that is the Manning brothers talking and then they bring in a new guest to watch with them each quarter. Definitely a different way to watch the game. I did miss some of the regular analysis but there were some fun moments and gave you a kind of fly on the wall feeling during their conversations. I didn't hate it but not sure i will go out of my way to tune into it again.

That's the other thing: Do Riddick and Griese sound a lot alike to anyone else?

Yes, they do. I think Griese does a good job of explaining coverages.

They sound nothing alike. Griese has zero bass in his voice. Ever.
