Definitely. Imagine his stats without the knee injuries.

He gets "love for the game" points. He gets "Cuba" points. I won't begrudge him for those. You can though, ya giant prick.

If Rizzuto is in the Hall, then Minoso should be too.

Both great team/game supporters but neither should be in the Hall.

Much of what I like about the game are the Billy Baseballs. Baseball needs those guys with so much downtime, so much strategic forward thinking, and so much repetitive practice. I feel the game is unique in that it is a constant battle to keep your head in the game and guys like Jeter don't get enough credit for turning a grind into joy.

Murph when on Saturday afternoon had MM on a few times. He apparently always had signed baseballs in his car to give away when fans who recognized him came over to talk.

On with Murph his unbridled enthusiasm, love of life and baseball shined. During an interview (90s) he was bouncing a child on his lap. Murph congratulated him on his grandchild. MM responds, "No, he's mine " (around 70). Murphs like ...wow....good for you Minnie. Must of been his son Charles born in the 90s.

Minnie Minoso's (almost 51?) last hit 9/12/76 off 25 year old Sid Monge (49-40 3.53)

Minoso is more deserving than several outfielders that are in. If Billy Williams is in, Minoso belongs. Harold Banes? Andre Dawson? Come on.

Minoso has exactly the same career OPS+ as Roberto Clemente. And he did it playing in places where it was nearly impossible to hit home runs.
