guy sent me into a giggling tizzy this morning. the most ridiculous coincidence in the history of coincidences.

long story short

80's Washington bullets has a player named Kevin Porter
last night Kevin Porter Jr hit a game winning 3 against Washington (now wizards)
wizards announcer says something like, "kevin porter Jr knows when the pull the trigger just like his dad or something"
80's bullets player Kevin Porter is not his dad
real dad shot and killed someone and was convicted for it in the early 90's.

mao zebron isn't buying it of course.

It's bizarre how hateful LeBron is. Maybe he should take up gambling like Jordan to get that energy out.

Read about it before he apologized and it was pretty obvious he had the wrong dad. It did bring up some other possible tone deaf announcer calls like “Austin Rivers, like his Dad, will return in six to eight weeks” and “Steve Kerr, like his dad, is really being taken hostage by the refs tonight.”

And ironically the Washington basketball team changed it's name to avoid the jokes and imagery.

But the apology seems sincere, hopefully it is and the kid can accept it.
