For taking a stand against the trade request epidemic that is presently infecting the NBA. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/n ... 048150002/ Hopefully this gets addressed with in the next collective bargaining agreement. |

Wouldn't have gone this far under Stern. He'd have exiled Kyrie and KD to Charlotte and Sacramento. messed up thing is it's looking like they'll both end up on the Nets still when the season starts. Kyrie might not give two shits, but KD gonna take the PR hit and not even get traded. The Gobert trade package made it impossible to trade KD. Nets would have to get at least what Minnesota gave Utah for Gobert and the TWolves pretty much gave everything you can give in a trade. |

Silver is wrong. Players have the power to request a trade just like teams have the right to trade players. He should know better than to say something this foolish. |

Nets are asking for too much for KD, which leads me to believe that they really don't want to trade him. And if Kyrie wants to win the best place for him to be is the Nets..Something tells me they are going to all get in a room, hash it out and decide that all is forgiven right before the start of the season. |

Trade requests are protected by the first amendment. Call them bitches but don't take away their rights. Kyrie irrelevant without LBJ. |

One place that could offer an enticing enough collection of draft picks for KD would be OKC: https://www.si.com/nba/thunder/draft-co ... raft-picks OKC has 4 2024 1st round picks. 3 2025 1st round picks. 3 2026 1st round picks. While you probably wouldn't want the 1st round pick of whatever team KD is on in 2024, OKC has Jazz and Rockets 2024 1st round picks that could end up in the lottery. Somehow Presti messed up and only has one ticket for next year's Wembanyama sweepstakes. |

I think the timing of the requests is what's beginning to piss the owners off more than anything. Players are locking their contracts in and then all of a sudden they are becoming disenchanted with their teams. |

Will the league stop owners from overpaying players or tanking? |

Will the league stop owners from overpaying players or tanking? They don't have to honor it but the environment becomes so toxic that you have to move the guy. That's been the case with all of trade requests over the past 3-4 years. Hopefully they address it during the next collective bargaining agreement. |

Kyrie and Durant are known bitches. If you want a guy who just shuts up and does his job then wait for Giannis. |

So you want to bring back Red Auerbach's NBA so the players will know their place? They should just shut up and dribble. |

It's becoming a league wide epidemic at this point That they got rid of Atkinson to bring in then bring in Nash was another joke. Not to mention bigfooting to get Deandre Jordan was yet another test that ownership caved on to them. |

Uncle Jerry doesn't have these problems. He would have killed his son Michael before trading Jordan. |

So did Jimmy Buckets and he still got maxed out. Didn't hurt Harden either. Guys are pulling this garbage all over the league right now and it isn't impacting them because there are no safeguards in place to prevent it. |

I don't think anyone else will deal with his crap since he's publicly screwed three franchises over and is a flake. Durant is another matter. I think that Silver would void any deal in the next two seasons. |
