I think this was the last time congress declared war, which is kind of amazing when you think about the amount of time, talent and treasure spent on the military since WWII compared to before. All you people against legislating by presidential declaration should ponder it for a while. Presidents have arguably been undertaking unconstitutional military actions for 75 years straight |
