i have a hard time with the media bringing up 911 every year. anyone else? like spend maybe 2/3 min on the newscast about it but not an entire segment or 15-30 min on it. I can understand if it's like the 20th anniversery but i don't like it.

how long did it take for the pearl harbor over done commererations to stop?

yes, i never realized it until i moved away. chicago was (maybe still is ) a very independent minded city. Like go to boston, people are all brainwashed there. because of the harvards, MITs, and all those big wig university's telling people how smart they are and how to think and how to live, boston, the cradle of our independence, lost that independent thought several decades ago.

What? Harvard was founded in 1636, MIT in 1861, and Boston University in 1863. Assuming your thesis is valid, why would it take so long for the influence of these snobby institutions to be felt in Boston?

At what point are you going to understand that the news isn't actually the news? It is programming.

The snobiness proliferated via coffee shops.
