You hire A REAL baseball manager You turn around the entire franchise and go from finishing last 28 games under last year to getting into the playoffs and on the verge of winning your division. ALL IN ONE YEAR! No bullshitting around signing guys who you hope turn their careers around then trading them at the ASB for mid range prospects that have a very small chance of making it as everyday player in the majors. Both sides of town should pay attention to what the Rangers did to turn around their entire franchise. |

Out of the Mets, Angels, and Padres, Padres is the only head scratcher. Philly, Texas, Braves, Dodgers, Astros, all have huge payrolls. |

When you think things out, the White Sox were in about the same spot of the Rangers two years ago, hired a great manager,spent some money on a few terrific all around baseball players and filled some other spots and are headed now to the World Series. Meanwhile the worst owner in professional sports doesn't give a shit about winning a championship. Fuck him and his organization. |
