How can you not like that? Maybe the Hawk and all the other Fields lovers/maybe he's still good/maybe he'll be MVP after we trade him so we should keep him guys were right. Explosive QB!

And with a defense that is giving him the ball back in quick order….

Like Sunday when they let that Fossil Joe Flacco throw for over 200 yards in the 4th quarter

Generational talent. You can’t let him go and watch him ball somewhere else and put up 21 points a game youll never live it down.

Didn’t help after going up 10 the offense looked like they were actively trying to get the defense back on the field as soon as possible.

Or one yard from the end zone. Or how many turnovers in Detroit and against Minny….

Get rid both Fields and Bed Wetter Eberflus.

I called for everyone to go earlier this season. I will say that Poles is looking a lot better with the trade and signing and a much improved defense.

But I would like a clean start with all the draft capital and cap space…..not sure I trust this regime to hire the right coach and draft the right QB and WR.

What don't you like about Poles? At this point, I thought all of his critics would appreciate what he's done in 18 months or so.

I'm a critic. I will acknowledge some picks in the backfield look decent. I don't like the Sweat move even tho he's been legit. Id prefer the pick and space. Jones Jr is still an embarrassment and so was the Claypool move. It's a mixed bag for Poles.

Poles has done enough to stay.

Everybody else should be launched as soon as practicable.

The coach he hired and the Claypool trade are my biggest issues. Plus we had multiple staff issues this year, not really a great culture. Also worried about Jaylon…

I’d be okay with that.

I personally don't view the coaches being fired as an Eberflus problem. If someone is gonna violate moral/ethical codes in private then that's more of a personal issue than something Eberflus can control. It'd be a different thing if these codes were violated in view of Eberflus and he did nothing about it. That's a different story. It'd be like wanting to fire every Dennis Rodman coach for things rodman did off the court.

Yeah that makes sense. With the pick and cap space you will hopefully have a chance to get an edge rusher whos almost as good as Sweat.

Are you saying Sweat was never a draft pick and just showed up out of nowhere on the commanders?

I am not saying that, and it's quite amusing that you somehow took that from my post.

What's amusing is you ignoring the point that drafting your future sweat and signing some other needed position (center for example) is a more efficient use of resources than spending a pick and much cash on one good but not great guy who's already in his prime. But I get that a Gute guy who was down with overspending for a hyper erratic QB who still can't get fundamentals right in year four is down with the move.

Btw, Love is at 20.71 excluding defensive TDs, a full 1.21 ahead of our own HOF'er Fields. The NFC is in good hands!
