I like college softball. It's an easy watch and unburdened by "not as good as" discussions.

I can’t understand the pervasive “not as good as” discussions. Like see the Caitlin Clark discussion around here.

I’ve probably voluntarily for my own personal entertainment watched on TV or in person, or listened to on the radio, thousands of parts or all of college football games. Never during this voluntarily entertainment experience in which I actively chose that form of entertainment and invested my time, energy, and likely money in some form to consume the entertainment have I ever thought: “You know this is really fun and entertaining, but neither of these two teams could beat and NFL team, therefore this is no longer entertaining for me…”

That’s just never happened to me.
