Yes, they mostly exist to farm the clicks of dopes who like to know that the song they like, well other people like it too and it's because it's actually good. That being said, watching the nice opera lady geeking out about how cool Jeff Lynne's work on ELO's Turn to Stone is was very cool. With Beato and a bunch of others doing similar things it's pretty oversaturated, but there are enough good ones out there to keep finding. My only complaint is that so many people are claiming it's their "first listen" to stuff like Smells Like Teen Spirit that I don't believe them or I think they're just culturally incompetent.

haha...yeah, all bullshit.

concept originally started by nationalists of various nations wanting supreme confirmation on youtube, that yes, they even awe the best.

example: american f-35 pilot amazed at turkish f-4 pilot skills.

an american pilot veteran watches nothing with a chuckle and smirk and 200 comments of turks throwing their slippers in the air out of pure joy.

the music, well, my genre is the best and looking for confirmation of that from those who likely grew up on other musical genres. yeah, want rappers to listen 'for the first time' this blue oyster cult hit. yeah, they are tripping. yeah, see...boc the best. the rappers are just being accommodating. all bullshit.
