Yeah, that's right...Hootie. Hootie's got a new song minus the Blowfish. He released a country album and the first song is pretty good. I know what you are saying, wrong section. But, damnit, IT'S HOOTIE!! The most underutilized multitalented artist of the lost decade of the 90s. |

I'll drink an extra bottle of wine just for you Reason. I'm also a big fan of Sugarland lead singer Jennifer Nettles, whose video I just watched... |

Look for the show where Sugarland played with Bon Jovi. It's been on TV several times. She was very entertaining in that also. |

I was doing an inventory in Columbia, SC my first year in work back in 1992. The guy from the office invited me out to see "the hootie" houses after work. I just figured that was slang for the strip clubs and eagerly agreed. He then proceeeded to show me where all the members of the band lived D'oh!!! Was pretty cool though, they were super popular at the time and they all lived within a couple blocks of each other in a normal neighborhood. Although the quality of the cars at each household you would know they were either professional drug dealers or something was going on. |

My wife likes country music and Bon Jovi, so that show was the perefect storm for her. CMT Crossroads. I'm not a big fan of Maroon 5, but they did a show with Sara Evans, and that was pretty decent. |

Ah...I see...well, he still isn't Hootie, no matter how many people want to think he is, but I'll let you all live in your dreamworld if it helps you sleep at night... |

Hootie's little ditty has hit #2 on the Country Video Countdown and according to the commercials, the chick from NYPD Blue is telling me that polar bears are almost extinct. |

I am willing to take the TOMATOES on this one but Cracked Rearview wasn't that bad. I am a Hootie apologist. Listen to it from front to back and it isn't all that bad. Now what they have done after that I can't vouch for personally but these guys were folky, country and rock in that little vortex of time. Still think those songs are ok. Better than the Bon Jovi shit they are shoving down our thoat on the baseball commercial drops. |

Possibly THE worst mega-multi-platinum album of all time, (by a so-called rock band). god, I hate his voice. I hate that Hootie and The Blowfish (the band, not the people) ever existed. "Let Her Cry"? "Hold My Hand"? "Only Wanna Be With You"? Fucking terrible. No Offense, T-bone. |

Hey, Hootie haters, get the hell out of my thread!! This is my thread to post a Hootie thought whenever it's late-night and I'm drinky. Hootie is the greatest cross-millenial talent of our generation. |

As far as Hootie goes, Alaska sends those out to make sure that we keep an eye on Russia. And, when you're in Alaska, well, I'm giving you that perspective of how small our world is to be allowed in a country and your parents give them a backpack and say go off and travel the world like Hootie! No, I've worked all my life. In fact, I usually had two jobs all my life, though Hootie did not necessarily have the same circumstance. I usually had two jobs while I was younger and a sports reporter. In fact, I was quite jealous of Hootie And The Blowfish until I became a Senator. In fact, I usually had two jobs all my life until I had kids. I was not a part of, I guess, that Hootie culture. |
