welcome back. i can't wait to see what kind of excuses payton & brees come up with this one. how's being "battle tested" worked out this time for ya, drew? great game, champ.

i wouldn't put this team in the top 20 of the NFL. and yes, i realize how many bad teams there are this year.

I still think the Saints will be there in the end. I wonder if home teams are winning a higher percentage of game this season? It seems like it.

Saints have some tough sledding coming up. This week they have a big home game against the best team in the NFL, the Steelers. Road games at Dallas, Cincinnati, Baltimore, and Atlanta.

By the way, Pete carol (intentional misspell) will never be a NFL Coach until he learns how to chew clock. Up by 14 with five mins in third quarter and he let's the saints back in? Seattle loses by at least 14 in their next game, maybe more.

you know what i mean, hootmon. plus, they are 0-4 in road games. that's pretty lopsided.

yes, the seahawks will get rolled in their next playoff game. it really disappoints me that the saints D didn't even bother showing up in this game. this has to be the worst game they've played defensively all year.

i can't really put this on brees and the offense. you put up 36 points you should win.

keep in mind this is partly tongue in cheek.

I'm not a Carroll fan, but that's not fair. They never gave up the lead once they had it, right? When you are up 14 in the 3rd and give up 1 TD, the other team is "back in it".

But in reality, it was over as soon as he went for the FG (instead of TD) on 4th down earlier that quarter...if not when J.Jones had to figure out which hand to grab to help him up thanks to his concussion.

That call was football by the "book", something unknown to Saints players & coaches... And gar-uan-teed ;) the loss.
