It's not about his performance -- he was pretty putrid against one of the worst teams in football. At least he appears to have things in perspective. "It was my fault we were in that position," Tebow said. "Silly things kept happening. On the sidelines, we were still believing. We wanted it, and they believed in me for more than 60 minutes." I don't agree with some of his views, but I've never hated the man. Sadly, I think this win will only add fuel to the fire for some of his fans. I hope there's a decent amouint of Broncos fans who will not blinded by what happen over the final four minutes of regulation. |

I'm predicting that Bears/Broncos game will be CBS' Game of the Week with Nantz and Simms calling it....you've got the whole Tebow thing as well as Cutler's first regular season game back in Denver since being traded. |

That was Tim Tebow with 2 weeks to prepare. Against the Dolphins. The Bears may murder him. But good on him for knowing he sucks I guess. |

he's quirky for sure but his kneel after the game i didn't have a problem with. when he had to, he came to life and he does deserve credit for that. the problem is that there is so much obnoxious coverage of everything that there's no middle ground anymore. there's just a total slurpfest that's going to permeate all the sports related media now because of what he did. |

Tim Tebow is on a terrible team. In his first NFL start, he rallies his team, scoring 2 TD's & a 2 point conversion in the last 3 minutes off the game to win the game. The guy is a clutch player who knows how to lead & win. There are lots of coaches who would be able to design a game plan around Tebows talents, but John Fox isn't one of them. Hopefully he'll figure it out. B&B aren't going to like this. |

Gotta call you out his one. I will put up any amount of $$ you wish - this prediction is 100% wrong. You're better than this, and you, along with SHARK, are one of the board's NFL broadcast "experts". The game will be in Denver. Please reconsider who you think will be telecasting the game, and then decide who you think will be the PBP/color guys for the game. Thank you. |

I really want that "just wins games" tag to go the way of the Edsel. Vince Young just won football games too, til he started losing them and got cut. Now he's a 3rd stringer. The same thing will happen to Tebow by 2014 I'm pretty sure. |

The same thing will happen to Tebow by 2014 I'm pretty sure. i absolutely think that's realistic. but i don't have a problem giving him credit where it's due. he still doesn't have an NFL arm and when he plays a good team, they're going to be able to game plan him. still, he kept his cool and took advantage. that's two times in the last few years miami's blown big leads at home. not surprised at all at sporano losing his job this time. against the saints it was even a bigger disgrace. 24-7 lead and you lose the game...bad. |

I will make another prediction: Tebow will not be caught on security camera beating someone up in a strip club. Therefore, he is not the white VY. Scorehead wins this thread. |

I just want this to be clear, you believe Tebow will be a successful NFL QB? Who the heck knows. There were at least 5 NFL QB's who started today who are worse than Tim Tebow. There have been dozens of stud QB's with all the tools...big arm & accurate...who have failed miserably in the NFL. There are stud QB's drafted every year who end up being terrible. None of us are good enough to be able to accurately predict who will be great & who wont. There have been lots of QB's with unconventional deliveries with mediocre arm strength who have had long NFL careers. Tim Tebow has as good a chance to be a good NFL QB as nearly every other QB who was drafted. What bothers me the most is that John Fox is Tebows coach. I'm rooting for the kid. Professional sports needs more young Men like Tebow. |

My bad, its a FOX game......but FOX did protect it from being flex to NBC, so I'll revise my prediction and say that Buck and Aikman will do the game. |

Scorehead, clarify a few things. 1. "There were at least 5 NFL QB's who started today who are worse than Tim Tebow." Who are they? 2. "There have been lots of QB's with unconventional deliveries with mediocre arm strength who have had long NFL careers. " Name them. John Fox wasn't to blame for Tebow's problems against Miami. Tebow's the one who couldn't recognize some of the blitz packages -- a major reason he was sacked seven times. Fox wasn't the one who tossed a squadron of Dead Quails to intended targets. Remember the start of this thread. Tebow knows he sucked in the game -- he admitted to it. Stop making excuses for the kid -- he doesn't need your help. It would also be nice to cite actual names for to back your QB theories. Once I see whom you're talking about, maybe I can give you a little credit for your observations. Right now, you're just releasing a lot of hot air. |

Right now, you're just releasing a lot of hot air. I'm not making excuses for Tebow. He has started 2 NFL games. Do you have any idea just how bad some of the greatest QB's in the history of the NFL looked in their first few games & years in the NFL??? My comments about John Fox are relative to my opinion of him as a coach & my opinion of his ability to adjust his style & philosophy to maximize Tebows talents. Fox & Tebow are like oil & water, so we'll see what happens. None of us can say with any certainty who will & who wont be good NFL players. I didn't think Cam Newton had a chance in hell of being successful in the NFL, & the general consensus from the experts was the same. Oops! I think Tebow has a chance to make it. |
