That's an awfully suspect definition of "long suffering".

But congrats anyway.

Keep in mind that almost all Texans' fans were originally Oilers' fans. It's completely appropriate to use the word "long suffering" in this context.

If the Cubs ever get to and win a world series, I would not be responsible for my actions for the next seven (7) days as I will be looting and possibly causing civil unrest.

The Houston Texans are a great story this season. You'd think once Matt Schaub and Matt Leinart were both injured, everyone would count out the Texans with rookie T.J. Yates taking over the starting QB duties. While most of NFL Nation continues to focus front & center on the Tweedy-sounding Tim Tebow and the Broncos, plus Tom Brady and the Patriots, the hard to figure Ravens & the defensive-minded Steelers in the AFC, Houston continues to get it done overcoming key injuries and right now are in a four-way tie for the AFC's top record at 10-3 with their win in Cincinnati yesterday. By clinching the AFC South, the Texans are playoff bound for the first time in franchise history and head coach Gary Kubiak gets to keep his job.

New Blood! Congrats HH and Texans! I'll be rooting for them with the Eagles and Bears (likely) out. I have no other AFC allegances.

They are the ONLY team, Eaglo, that has NEVER appeared on "Sunday Night Football" since NBC Sports replaced ESPN a few years ago. Most people don't know who they are besides WR Andre Johnson, QB Matt Schaub & DT Mario Williams, all of whom injured...
