I’ve sent this note to Big Fan as Thank You to all of you who interact on these boards and others…As The Score enters the 20th Anniversary I wanted to openly thank you the audience and fans who have made what the Score is today. For 20 years the station has attempted to entertain and inform the Chicago Sports Fans…Three frequencies, numerous personalities, and great fun, and what has developed is a brand creation, The Score is a true Chicago brand, and without our audience that brand does not mature to what it is today…Its hard to believe that this little sports radio station started with no audience and today the entire station is ranked number one in the key male 25-54 demographic.

We cannot deny history as so many people played important and vital roles in the success of The Score. Throughout the year we will have great score moments on the air throughout each day, have lots of on-line interactive elements for all of you to participate in, a huge event in the Spring with current and past Score people, and most of all it will be a thank you to the audience for 20 great years of Chicago Sports Radio. Also, a special salute to the some Score on-air originals who have been here since day one and one guy who came back(Danny Mac)…Brian Hanley, Dan McNeil, Terry Boers, and Doug Buffone.

The web-site to log onto starting Tuesday will be THESCORE20.COM. On THESCORE20.COM there will be a historical story on the Score along with a section where you can post your favorite Score memories, and tons of other stuff that I think you will enjoy.

Again, thank you for listening and being part of Chicago radio history as The Score celebrates 20 years!

Mitch, I used to listen a lot. I mean A LOT. Combined listening time in the last 3 years... maybe 15 minutes.

Mitch, I got XM radio in my car in April. Amount of time spent listening to your crappy station since then = less than 1 hour.

So basically you can suck it!

Shakes- then what is the point of being on-and still checking in on- a B & B message board?

This is one of the most disingenuous attempts at fan relations I've ever read. Here's to hoping that Big Fan unstickies it soon.

Mitch can go blow, as far as I'm concerned, he consistently makes The Goose seem like a genius. Here's an idea, assclown, register and make a post AS YOURSELF. Doing this half-assed "letter" is worse than not doing anything at all. So kudos on keeping your dumbass streak alive!

I mean, thanks. Appreciate you caring so much to take time from your busy schedule to address your adoring fans.
